Coffee Morning to Find Out More About a New Meeting Centre in Droitwich Spa, UK
People living with dementia and their family and friends were invited to a free coffee morning from 10.00am to 12.30pm on Friday, April 24th at the Droitwich Spa Community Hall in Heritage Way. The coffee morning was hosted by the University of Worcester’s Association for Dementia Studies and the Alzheimer’s Society to give people more information about a new Meeting Centre being launched in September this year. From September 23rd, the Meeting Centre will be open three days a week at the Droitwich Spa Community Hall and will provide an opportunity for people living with dementia and their family and friends to meet other people in similar situations and access information about other support on offer.
