Summary of the results of the project Evaluation of the implementation of the individualized Meeting Centres support Programme in the Netherlands. In this project three innovative individualized interventions, i.e. DemenTalent (volunteer work for people with dementia), Dementelcoach (telephone coaching for informal carers) and the STAR online course for informal carers, were added to the regular group-oriented support programme in Meeting Centres with the aim to support a broader group of people with dementia and carers, especially those who prefer individualized support. The new individualized programme proved an effective and cost-effective alternative to the group-oriented programme.
