Meeting Centres very first intervention to be recognised by the Recognition Committee for long-term care interventions!
Utrecht, The Netherlands, 26 August 2014. ‘Meeting Centers’ is the very first intervention to be recognised by the Recognition Committee for long-term care interventions. In July the subcommittee ederly care found that this intervention meets the criteria for efficiacy. The intervention supports people with dementia and their carers, by allowing them to live independently for a longer time and by reducing the pressure on carers.
